COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For me it's all about meeting new people, not about saving money on accommodation. As a guest I will very happily cook, hang out and talk, or go out, whether its for dinner, drinks are a full blown bender.

Interests

- Film particularly European cinema, I feel that because these films have smaller budgets the story line has to be, and often is, incredible. Mix that with talented and underrated actors I enjoy these much more than you typical Hollywood blockbuster. -Cooking, I really enjoy cooking, I find it very relaxing and I also like the giving part where you make food for others, it's such a pure and social activity, eating together. I like learning new recipes and new dishes too. One of my goals in China is to learn how to cook Chinese food. - Poker, this I really enjoy, I hate playing online because for me it's all about the social aspect, and reading into the other players. I'm always happy to join in a poker night, but be warned, I take it quite seriously! - Music, i enjoy all kinds of music but I am mostly drawn to electro music, I have a soft spot for outdated commercial hip-hop (I blame this acquired taste on my years spent in NYC) AND I would love funk to make a comeback!!! - Raves + Festivals, for me festivals are just raves that last several days. I love them, I am happiest when busting some shapes to some good tunes, I often dance around the whole night with my friends, strangers or on my own, I don't mind who. I'm almost always the last to go home and usually only leave because i have too. - And of course travel. I am so fascinated with everything out there, I want to see so much!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Un Phropheta, Die Welle, Sin Nombre, Anchorman. I always want to watch a new film so if you can recommend one or two I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about.

My music taste varies but I love dance music, from DnB to dub step, breakbeats to electro AND funk.
