ABOUT ME

Adventurous and novel things draw me in like a magnet!

My roommate Ryan and I are tour guides in Alaska for the summer and are roadtripping (yay!) to the Florida Keys for the winter! We have given ourselves about a month or so to complete it, but don't really have a set schedule. Just going wherever the wind takes us :)

We both LOVE meeting new people, especially if they have a new perspective or experience to share with us. We have the ability to stay in a hotel/hostel almost every night, but prefer couchsurfing because locals give a perspective and insight into an area that no amount of Googling or reading books can do.

Animals are a huge plus, kinda obsessed with aminals (mispelled on purpose) lol. We both love the outdoors and would prefer entertainment that the Earth provides for free, but cities and rich/diverse human culture share a soft spot in our hearts as well. We are both accustomed to camping in the car/tent, so anything indoors is puuuure luxury. Send me a message if you would like to get to know me/us a little better before opening your door and heart :)

We both promise to accommodate whatever is easiest and most enjoyable for hosting us. Whether it is keeping to ourselves and making it seem as if nobody even crashed on your couch, or joining you in whatever activity you find entertaining (talking, hiking, biking, cooking, etc)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the strength of a man care for the love of his life of 40+ years, as alzheimers slowly withered away her body and mind. Never leaving her side over they years and staying with her till the end. I hope someday I have that same connection with a special someone.

That man is my amazing grandfather, Charlton Meyer. A family man first and an incredible musician second.
