We are long time friends and lovers who truly take pleasure from the small things in life. We try to make laughter and love our focus, but are easily distracted by good food and great people! On any given day you could find us walking about the city with a coffee, cuddling and playing with our lovely cat Willow, or pretending to read a book while we people watch! We enjoy good music, preferably live, but have an equal appreciation for its counterpart...silence. Camping and hiking are among some of our favourite things to do, yet we never get to do enough.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Canada has been our home for our entire lives, but we decided to leave for a while to check out the rest of this awesome planet!

Though we have little history or reputation on Couchsurfing, we can only hope that the Couchsurfing community will open their hearts and their doors to us and aid us in our travels. As most of us do, we travel on a small budget, and as most of us know, that usually makes for the most genuine and memorable experiences with people. Unfortunately our more recent living situation has not allowed us to host much, but we hope that does not reflect negatively on us, as in our past we have opened our doors to many comers and goers! We seek authentic experiences with people, and hope to engage more with the culture we are amongst rather than just stay at hotels, see the attractions and move on.

This! Travelling the world. It’s not an opportunity that many get, but we were both motivated, stayed inspired and worked hard to get to this point. Hello world.

As we may not have specific skills to teach, we hope to teach others through our actions, of love and generosity. Learning from one another is important and one of the main reasons why we decided to travel. We hope to acquire and further our skills and knowledge in regards to living more sustainably and self sufficient, so we may apply it within our daily lives.
