One evening an old Cherokee told to race his grandson about the battle that goes into the soul of the people.
He said:
-My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' that exist within us all.
One is Evil: It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,self-pity, guilt, attack, inferiority, lies, pride, arrogance and ego.
The other is Good: It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith in God.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
-Who 'wolf' beats?
The old Cherokee simply replied Indian ...............
"The one that you feed ."
