ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Charlotte NC. Moved to LA to go to CSUN, then moved to Europe to finish up a double master's degree at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and Uppsala University in Sweden. Just now updating my profile after 10 years or so haha. I live in Ukraine right now I was wait for a business visa to be approved for Sweden. I'm work online as a crypto currency trader.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that life is the greatest and most precious things God has given us and to at least try to make every day the best day. I've learned that when bad things happen or that when people do bad things to me, it's important to not get bitter and to fight it off because I should be focus on the best things in life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I travel quite a bit and it certainly makes life much easier when you can meet someone cool enough to let you crash at their pad. Also, I'm an out going person and I like to meet people. I used to go to couchsurfing meetings at some bars when I lived in Stockholm but that was a while ago.

I've only hosted somebody one time, back when I lived in Sweden. I did however keep an apartment open for a whole month one time when I lived in the Netherlands but I never got any request. I live in Pasadena, CA in a 5 bedroom house with each one to a room and I keep my profile unavailable because the environment would be kinda different for a couchsurfer. However if someone really needs a place really bad then they can still try and CS here.

I used to have an account earlier but I had a few problems with it earlier and for some reason I was never verified nor received the letter after donated. Also, since this is my original account, then I've decided to delete that account and just update this one and did the verification process again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far my Couchsurfing experience has been great. I rarely use it but when I do I almost always meet some very cool people and there are several people who I'll probably have life long friends as a result of using couchsurfing.

I like to do a combination of staying busy but also enjoying life. I like watching sports, such as american football, soccer, MMA, NHL, basketball and sometimes baseball.

I haven't really seen that money movies, but I guess I like ghetto/comedy movies like Friday, Juice, Don't Be A Menace While Drinking Juice In the Hood. But I also like the Lord of the Rings, Titanic, Harry Potter and Batman. I listen to Hip Hop as my main genre, but I listen to many other types of music including European Dance (house, techno, electronic, drum & bass etc.), R&B, soft rock, rock, pop, americana and even a little country.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the amazing things that I saw when I was at a bar in Sweden. I'd been arguing with my friends the whole year about how an undefeated team that I HATED would lose in the superbowl. We played bingo but since I came late I only had one spot to put my chip. Then the game was just sooo amazing and towards the end the team that I was going for (NYG) had to do EVERYTHING right at that last minute if they wanted to win because they were down with less than a minute to go. Then they scored a touchdown against NE with just 35 seconds left. That event at that bar and me winning that money after coming late and not have to worry about this team winning nor my friends talking smack to me any more about this is just priceless.
