ABOUT ME

We like to travel, see new things and meet people in the places we travel to on vacation. We have been to about 30 countries in 5 continents. We often prefer going to the market or getting take-out instead of eating out all the time when we are on vacation. We like to walk and take public transit. We enjoy seeing oceans and mountains and beautiful sun sets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've been hosting surfers periodically for a few years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have never been formal surfers yet (seems harder to do with 3 people, one who is a child). However, in earlier years we were guests (mostly in Europe) of several people we had only known on-line up to that point. It was awesome. We also hosted some of our hosts later on.

Interests

Beautiful scenery and great walking paths are always wonderful. Mike especially is a train fan. We like to spend time with people and just talk and find out how others live in other cities and countries. We like to walk, ride bicycles and watch DVDs, especially old television shows. We like to read and cook and bake delicious foods.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our daughter likes the circus and all the wonderful circus acts. We like to see the waves crash against the sand and we like beautiful water falls falling to the water's floor.
