About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dont take life so seriously, you'll never get out of this alive.

ABOUT ME

I am a bit of a extrovert, introvert, with a love of the absurd. I was born and bread in Glasgow, where I live at the moment but consider myself to be a person of the world first and foremost. I really enjoy new experiences with people and find that we have more in common with each other than differences.

I am a mature student studying Sculpture and Environmental art at Glasgow school of art. This was a dream of mine so am grateful to be there and want to grab the experience by the balls....

I've had a meditation practise for some years and have sampled many of the styles out there. Zen is the one I have chosen to rest with at the moment and it tends to inform a great deal of my creative ideas.

I like being able to laugh in the face of life in all its ups and downs....Its all so beautifully strange!!

PHILOSOPHY

As I get older I like to think my philosophy has evolved and continues to change and be challenged. I try and say, Yes as much as I can to new experiences as they open the doors to knowing ones self and others more intimately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted in Glasgow and have attended meetings. Am interested in getting more involved the sub groups, I think they are a great way of meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of times in Glasgow and have met folk traveling through for coffees and sharing tales of life. I look forward to surfing when I travel next.

Interests

Being at Art School means most of my interest tend to be on the creative side, sculpture, photography, film making, movement....
I really enjoy creating with others and have been practising 5 rhythms movement for some years now. Sharing the experience of moving with others is truly liberating.

I have a daily meditation practise and try to go on silent retreats each year. I practise Yoga and Chi Kung.

Am I keen cook and find there is nothing nicer than sharing food with others, It always taste so much better when its a shared experience!
