About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet cool people during this time when I can't travel too much due my business.

ABOUT ME

Outgoing and looking to have fun. I've been able to travel since I was 20 and haven't looked back. Love meeting new people and sharing stories. I'm working on getting a business started out here, hopefully this year.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short! Enjoy everyday. If I'm in a place for more than a few months, I need to be planning somewhere to go.

There aren't too many problems that can't be fixed over a few beers with friends at a good bar or during a long run. Those are the two best places for introspection.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few times and have met up with CSers from Phoenix several times

Interests

I love to be in the outdoors, especially hiking and camping.

If you bring up these topics, I will talk forever about them:
- Traveling. Pretty much my favorite thing to talk about.
- Food, which is usually tied to traveling
- Exercise
- Beer, which is why I want to open my own brewery!
- Pittsburgh Steelers football
- Life in general

  • dining
  • beer
  • exercise
  • running
  • traveling
  • outdoor activities
  • hiking
  • camping
  • soccer
  • business

Music, Movies, and Books

- Four Hour Work Week
- Vagabonding
- A Year in Provence
- Into the Wild
- Into Thin Air
- Books about Beer
- All types of music
- I like most movies and can probably quote a whole bunch of the best ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I got to the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The sunrise was beautiful and I will never forget it.
- My whole time in Thailand. I loved everything about that country. I will go back.
- Rome! I had the pleasure of living there for 4 months and think about it constantly.

Teach, Learn, Share

Write things down that you want to accomplish. Then tell people about them. I've been telling everyone I possibly can that I will open a brewery in the next few years and I've had so many people hook me up with friends of friends that can help out. Tell everyone what you want to do. It also forces you to push through rough times because you don't want to have to tell people you couldn't do it. This works for me.
