ABOUT ME

Where to start... Well, I am a passionate musician, and outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, scuba diving, climbing trees, bonfires, bushcraft... well basically anything outdoors.
Music is a huge part of my life. I play alot of guitar but enjoy playing or hearing any instrument. I love playing music with other people and hearing different styles and musical tastes.
I consider myself to be a very open minded individual with a laid back and positive attitude.
I have lived in many places in Canada; southern Ontario, northern Ontario, southern Alberta, central BC, and currently I live on the north end of Vancouver Island BC.
I am employed as an Environmental Technican for a forestry consulting company. I conduct forest stream assessments directed towards determining fish presence and preserving fish habitat.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to believe in the idea of Karma to help me live my life to the fullest. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. Send good energy out and good energy should be returned to you. Of course it doesnt always work out that way but its a nice thought at least. ;-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spending 10 days on a Tall Ship Adventure has got to be one of the most amazing things I have been a part of. Sailing around Lake Superior in massive storms and being at the mercy of nature!!
Volunteer work in Algonquin Provincial Park with wolf, black bear, and moose research projects.
Working and Hiking and Camping in the Rocky Mountains.

One of my life goals is to never stop learning.
As I mentioned before, I am very passionate about music. I am always eager to play music with other people. I mostly play acoustic guitar but enjoy all instruments. When it comes to guitar, I would like to think that I am a quick learner and a patient teacher.
I am also very interesed in primitive living skills and bushcraft. I enjoy woodworking and look forward to building my own cabin someday and perhaps a hobby farm. I enjoy learning about Permiculture and sustainable living and look forward to building a life for myself off the grid and away from fossil fuels in general.
