Hi :) I'm polite and respectful of people's property, will likely have a guitar with me, but will be very quiet unless requested to make noise!

I don't speak much Spanish, but have been using Duolingo to learn 'La niña bebe leche' and other useful phrases haha. Also learnt a few important phrases like 'una cerveza, por favor' on my own

Will get into a long discussion about economics / politics at the drop of a hat, but again, won't ever impose it on the unwilling :) Also occasionally do love to discuss the bigger questions - space and life etc

I don't smoke or pick my nose and wipe it in concealed places, and can use a toilet without making a mess

I will be travelling across Spain this month to meet friends, and am willing to wash dishes and generally be useful to help minimise accommodation costs!

I will be working remotely, so a place to sit with my laptop and connect to wifi would be appreciated although not essential!

Music taste - I am a cherrypicker. One song from every one-hit wonder, plus Muse, Radiohead, Bowie, Bright Eyes, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, John Frusciante, Lights, Chvrches, Queen, Bon Jovi, Beethoven, Billy Talent, IamX

Movies - Fight Club, Office Space, American Beauty, Space Odyssey, Alien(s), Terminator (1 and 2), Cloudy Meatballs, Marvel movies. I rarely get the time to watch movies these days but am a big softie for an emotional scene and will get something in my eye quite easily!

Books - nowhere near as well read as I'd like to be, but like to think I can pass for being well-read. This would be thanks to hearing the rebuttals and counter-rebuttals for various non-fiction books in podcast form. There is plenty of stuff on the reading list - but I am open to essential fiction / non-fiction suggestions!

I haven't ever swam wit dolphins, but this evening I saw a girl chasing a guy across the street. At first I thought they were a couple, but realised the guy was holding a bag - looked like hers.

I stepped in his path to make him to the 'left or right?' thing. He stepped to (his) left, I stepped right. He stepped right, I stepped left. Also stuck my foot out to make him stumble quite badly as he passed me.

It wasn't enough to make him fall on his face (sadly), but I did slow him down enough that she cornered him in the train station! Good deed for the day done :)
