ABOUT ME

I recently finished graduate school in Eugene, OR and am spending a little time here in Montreal before I move to the Bay Area. I like to spend my days reading, I practice yoga most days, and love underground music - rock, EDM, industrial. Before moving to Eugene I spent last summer at a meditation retreat and, when not in school, have spent long periods traveling the world and the U.S. I like to host when I can, which I hope to start again once I settle in the Bay Area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love a traveling community. Hosting is great because it's an avenue for meeting new, diverse people from all over the world. Being hosted is great as well - it is an opportunity to learn the best local spots, have great conversation and really get absorbed into a place.

Interests

Reading, yoga, making new connections with people, explore cities and the outdoors, dancing, vegan & vegetarian food.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many. The music I dance most to is EDM and industrial. Movies - I love them. Books: I'm currently reacquainting with Hunter S. Thompson with Hell's Angels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently, I hitchhiked through the Colorado Rockies and met wonderful people on the way and saw the most beautiful mountains and canyons in Colorado. Afterward, I drove through Yellowstone and got to hang out with Buffalos. Then on to the Rainbow Gathering in Montana full of some great people we will never forget
