Hey CS,
I'm Michael, an outgoing guy who's up for everything and anything, from exploring the great outdoors, to playing a board game right at home, I'm your guy. I love to make people laugh and experience new things with good people!

I grew up in San Diego, California. Went to college in Atlanta, Georgia. Spent a year traveling, in Latin America and Spain. Lived and worked in Salt Lake City, Utah for 1.5 years. I just moved to Seattle, because why not?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

December 2012 was my first CS experience. I surfed in Joshua Tree with my brother and we had a blast. The guy who hosted us was awesome and since then I've loved being a part of the CS community.

Over the years, I've been lucky to host some great people as well as stay with some awesome hosts. I think that CS provides a great way to see and experience a new place.

Interests

Biking, skiing, hiking, kayaking, backpacking, running, swimming, and yoga. Pretty much anything that is outdoors or gets your heart rate up (aside from scary movies).

Meeting new people, traveling, exploring, making things, dogs, most animals.

Current events, global issues.

I like to talk to people about their opinions/knowledge/experiences. I think every person has a unique perspective of the world, and I love learning about new ones!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 3 weeks river kayaking in Eastern Utah.
It was sooooo beautiful and peaceful.
Kayaking in white water is such a rush!

I love to cook and do dishes!

That's right I LOVE DOING DISHES. I guess it's cause I like improving things? Not really sure why I love doing dishes....
