Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love to host people when we are in our home country. We've had great times with our surfers.
After hearing their stories, we decided to sell everything we owned, and backpack the world. We saved up for 5 months, took our tax returns, and left our comfort zone.
We are travelling the world, and recording our adventure with a GoPro.
We started travelling March 22, 2016 in Reno, NV with Mike's 13 year old nephew. He was with us until New York City, and then flew home.

I've helped a doctor get back to Switzerland after having everything stolen in Mexico.
I've taken my 13 year old nephew on a trip across the US.
(Miguel) I've surprised my family with plane tickets to come visit me.
I've surprised Mike with the best birthday parties ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
(Mike) I enjoy talking about politics and creating a better future for humanity, drinking good beer, sharing stories. I can fix computers and phones. I can cook, clean and chew gum at the same time. I love to help people and enjoy paying it foward.
(Miguel) I love to learn about languages, history and places of interest. If you are into practicing or learning Italian, Portuguese or Spanish then I am your man.
I found these links on the profile of a host in Berlin and I wanted to share it:

What I Can Share with Hosts
(Mike) I think the most important part of couchsurfing is sharing time with new friends and getting to know about their way of living, their country, food, and entertainment. Since we've been travelling, I've noticed that some people have a misunderstanding of how politics in my country work. Most of the people in the US are fed up with our representatives. The news doesn't tell the truth. I can tell you things about the politics in the US that will make your jaw drop, and I like getting input on how I can help make my country better when I get back home.
(Miguel) I can cook better than Mike and I'm pretty good at making drinks and talking about history, while jumping from one language to another. I'm also in trekking and run.
