COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience with couchsurfing yet, but I'm looking forward to take part on the community!

Interests

I really like nature, so hiking, camping, to explore an unknown place.
Living in a really big city like São Paulo I like to check out exhibitions, concerts and just walk around.
I'm also really interested in music and cinema.

I enjoy reading a lot, my favorite stuff is probably: Calvin & Hobbes, José Saramago, Dostoievski, Scott Fitzgerald.
As for music, my favorites are Lonard Cohen, Yes, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Caetano Veloso, Buffallo Spingfield, Chico Buarque, Tim Maia..
My favorite movies right now are Cinema Paradiso, The Boat that rocked, Almost Famous, It's a Wonderful Life..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking in a beach at night, after the water recoiled 100 meters. It was like stepping on the bottom of the ocean..

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently learning french, by reading, but I intend to take classes. I'm learning it beacause I have to read many translated texts, so it would be nice. It would also be very useful while traveling.
I'm trying to understand how societies work and why the wealth is distributed the way it is, mostly to understand brazilian unequal society.
I guess I can share anything within my knowledge about Brazil, and a little bit about music.
