HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't do much right now other than surf on other peoples' couches and show people around my own neighborhoods and city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had no CS experiences as of yet, but as I accrue some hosting/traveling reptitude I'll include it here.

Music: Jazz, Classic Rock, Hip Hop / Rap, Classical, Reggae/ Ska, Funk, Punk, Soul, Motown, Salsa and other latin dance music, dance music in general. NOT grunge, heavy/thrash/death metal, or variations on those themes. NOT bad music. YES good music from around the world
Books: Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Vonnegut, J. K. Rowling (HP4life), lots of AP english picks, lots of non-AP english list books, more to come
Movies: anything Hitchcock (though i haven't seen all of them), Memento, some Disney, most Pixar, a lot of indies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. spent a month on an Outward Bound sailing expedition up and down the coast of Maine one summer
2. sat the 1st week of a 3-month a meditation retreat in Providence, RI and got excited about snowfall on the last day like most people get excited about meeting their childhood idols
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: lots of random things from biology to earth sciences to psychology. expertise? --> meditation, anthropology, French, Shiatsu massage.
I'd love to learn: any language, any discipline (math might be a tough sell), any kind of philosophy. Basically, anything i don't know and strikes my fancy
