ABOUT ME

A fun loving Australian guy who loves to travel and socialise.

I have always been a traveller, I'm not a tourist.
I spent 11 years hitch-hiking Australia, from 1976 at the age of 16 to 1987 when I went back to school. I had some great experiences.

Now I'm travelling a different way. although I did hitch-hike New Zealand for 3 months at the age of 44.

My hitch-hiking days are not over yet. I've just been way-laid in Hefei for the last 8 years. Sometimes you find a place in your travels that is really difficult to leave.

Just like to help fellow travellers live there experiences. Helping is sharing new and wonderful experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess I couch surfed before it was known as a concept. Sort of spontanious couchsurfing because I never knew who I was going to meet or where I was going to end up. Often on the side of the road for the entire night hoping for a lift but many times you get a lift with someone and end up being hosted for a few days.

Interests

Anything that doesn't bore me. Most of all I love to socialise and meet new people.

I have over 2000 DVD's of every type of movie and documentaries.

Music
I grew up with the Beatles, Stones, Meatloaf and developed an appreciation for ROCK & ROLL, especially live music and concerts.

When you visit, you can always leave a book behind, or take one with you.
