I am a kind compassionate person doing my best to see the beauty this life offers. I'm currently living in Port Townsend, Washington where I have been for the past 5 years.

Interests

I enjoy being active and creative/expressive in various ways. Some projects as of late include: committing myself to a daily yoga practice to celebrate my 31st whirl around the sun, helping coach a middle school mountain bike team, volunteering at our community radio station, occasional square/fusion/tango dancing, playing/learning music, managing a garden on the property I live on and helping with animals, practicing massage... Slowing down.

Simply put, I am doing what I can to stay connected with my community, and grow more intimately wedded to life each step i take... with occasional fussing and fighting (it's all part of the process!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Tom Robbins, John O'Donohue & Barbara Kingslover have been favorite reads lately. Oliver Sacks, Julia Cameron, Paulo Coelho, Issac Asimov, Jack Kerouac, Gary Syder, Thoreau, Joseph Campbell, Pema Chodron, Gary Paul Nabhan, etc

Visual: Ruby Sparks, Latcho Drom, Before Sunrise, the Cruise, Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Where the Wild Things Are, Stop Making Sense, Benny and June, Annie Hall, Chocolat, the Tango Lesson, the Sherlock Holmes series to name a few. Favorite Directors: Charlie Chaplin, Terry Gilliam, Jim Jarmusch, Gene Kelly films.

*I was raised on t.v., and am very happy I no longer own one!

Audio: Ive greatly enjoyed being part of many song circles. If you've ever been to Singing Alive!, let's share songs... One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 2012 travelling in the US, Canada, and Europe practicing massage at Tango festivals. Was the best travel experience I've had so far. Really got to experience the kindness of strangers!
