About Me
You can verify me on instagram: @michal_goch
Freshly graduated in Cybersecurity, I'm currently trying to figure out adult life in Warsaw which I’m rediscovering after years of living and studying abroad.
After finishing high school in Belgium, I went on two Erasmus exchanges: one in the sunny streets of Granada, Spain 🇪🇸, and the other in the vibrant chaos of Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷. Each place taught me something different
I've visited over 30 countries (and counting!) from hiking in Slovakia to eating my way through Italy to freezing on a night bus in the Balkans. I love learning languages, listening to people’s stories, and getting into long, slightly philosophical conversations with strangers-turned-friends.
At the moment, I work in the public and private sector, trying to use what I’ve learned to make the digital world a bit safer - but I never say no to a spontaneous weekend trip, a good playlist, or a shared meal with fellow travellers.
Let’s swap stories over tea, wine, or whatever you’re having.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After years of travelling and being a guest in other people’s homes, I finally have a space of my own and I’m excited to open it up to travellers.
Even when I’m staying in my own city, I want to keep discovering the world through stories, late-night talks, and the perspectives of people passing through. Hosting feels like travelling without leaving home. And let’s be honest – after all the kindness I received as a guest, it’s time to return the favour.
