-to always make the best of any given situation, or get out
-fear is often unwarranted
-just because someone is far, far away, and you've never met them, they still deserve compassion

-all-time best guests: 2 excellent and intrepid trans-Canada cyclists stayed with me in London ON
-I've couched in Boston, Toronto, Copenhagen, Kingston Ontario, and on a catamaran anchored for free in Nanaimo Harbour

Done: Played the guitar and sang without people laughing or throwing things (amazing because I am not very good at the guitar or at singing)

1-bike fixing (most things, but I would trust a real mechanic for anything like bike open-heart surgery) + enjoying
2-life sciences (biochem, structural biology, um... evolution?)
3-hummous making

1-how really to take a photo

3-how to survive outdoors, and/or a zombie apocalypse
4-sweet yoga moves
5-to overcome my fear of martial arts
