Hi all. I'm Michael. I'm a secondary level school teacher based in Cork, Ireland. I'm sporty, outgoing and love to travel. I love adventure, making new friends and learning about cultures and skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a member of couchsurfing because I would like to make new friends, learn different cultures while I travel and meet new people who would be kind enough to show me their town, city, country. I enjoy entertaining people, sharing experiences and learning. I would also like to help people who are in the same position as I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janerio, Brazil for the World Cup Final (Argentina vs Germany) in 2014. Neil Armstrong (First man on the Moon) and Edmund Hillary (First man to climb Mt. Everest) have both visited and had dinner in my house...My Dad is a cool guy, very interested in History and managed a museum.

I am a high school teacher and I teach the Irish language and Geography. I am currently taking time off to teach the Irish language online and do some travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a willing to help out in any way I can with house duties. I can cook and I am conscientious. I can also teach you some 'Gaeilge' Irish language. I am a very sporty and ambitious person. I love helping people and I love learning new skills. I am also fairly entertaining and have some good stories.
