ABOUT ME

I like learning and I like exploring. I've been bouncing around a few places the past few years and am now a little more settled in the San Francisco Bay. My last big adventure was driving from Virginia to SF in a 22 year old car that wasn't running when I received it. Turns out there is a lot of knowledge on youtube. Drove the car 4800 miles over the course of 6 weeks (it was not a direct route).

I like hiking and backpacking, exploring new cities, meeting new people excited about life. I also like abstract art and music that as subtly discordant.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and I have surfed. I have hosted people who used to host me. And I have surfed with people who used to surf with me. It's a pretty cool thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Berlin, Barcelona, New Zealand, Dresden, Prague, others. Hosted in DC and Barcelona.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book of the last year was The Information by J. Gleick. My favorite book of all time is Zen and the Art of Archery (and lord of the rings). I'm really into British urban night feeling music with James-like names like e.g. Jamie XX and James Blake. Mount Kimbie and Burial and Four Tet are also way up there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pulled the fire alarm in my high school, once.
