i try to dance as much as possible so my head doesn't get in the way of being in the world!

i'm in montreal for a year doing a post-doc in art and philosophy

PHILOSOPHY

everything is connected... thoughts and feelings overflow with the world, what is real is where we put our attention, even the strangest phenomenon can be made real if enough ppl believe.. or at the very least suspend disbelief.. cinema and art give us new reasons to believe in the world, mb they are the future of religion?

i've couched a few places in new york, and montreal when i arrived, now i'm getting more involved in events and hanging out with csers which is cool

Interests

Performance art, dancing, art projects, films / videos, supporting communities and social issues, traveling to strange places and cultures, philosophy... conversation, conversation, and conversation... but not over-talkative style, the quiet is nice too!

Saw a UFO flying saucer skimming along the horizon at Keri Keri beach, New Zealand... they're out there!

Teach, Learn, Share

i've taught Qi Gong, dance and film/video-making. i like sharing skills and ideas, especially in community or humanitarian projects. i've worked in community cultural development for people with mental illness, the long-term unemployed, refugee camps in Algeria, refugee relief in jogja indonesia, made a hiphop video with kids in a joburg slum... keen to learn more and share more with anyone who has similar interests, or doing cool other stuff!
