Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Drinks and conversation. And food. And exploration.

I travel for work about once every two months, and for pleasure as often as possible. I've been traveling my entire life, and it still thrills me. I can't wait to experience other exciting adventures in new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love checking out new places with locals. Especially cities with extensive history and fantastic architecture. (I love to see Gothic architecture lit up at night!)

Trying local beers and foods is right up there, too. Some of my favorite memories have involved these.

Interests

Aside from traveling: reading, gym, and ... working

Learning new languages is fun, too. For nerd reasons, I suppose. I view it as a personal victory when I realize a connection between two "very different" languages. Its kind of like tracing genealogy... I realize that there are people who do this kind of thing professionally, but linguistics is just a hobby to me.
