I've lived on the Isle of Man for most of my life. I've spent many a weekend hiking through the various hills and plantations that adorn the island, or sea swimming, sometimes meeting seals and maybe even catching the odd dogfish with my bare hands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you would like to see some of the more interesting parts of the Isle of Man or just get some ideas feel free to contact me. I am usually happy to meet up for a coffee or a drink, or to meet and walk. I know many great places to show a prospective guest and welcome the opportunity to do so.

I've stayed on a couple of couches indirectly through tagging along with other couch-surfing friends. I've also met many visitors, again through other couch surfing friends. Great experiences all round!

A long time inactive lurker on the site I recently bought a house and therefore have a spare room that is way under utilized, so I'm now accepting guests.

Interests

I'm a geek at heart, maybe even a nerd, so I'm never far from a laptop, and the internet in general is how I make my living.

I try to balance it out by getting out into nature as much as possible. I love being outside, I love the fresh air, and I love to walk!

I have a greenhouse where I can normally be found on a nice summer's evening, tending to this year's botanical experiments.
