About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun and enjoy life.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a graduate student at Harvard University Extension School. I am pursuing a Masters of Liberal Arts in Biological Sciences.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my personal philosophy is to get people to really enjoy things in their lives. To get people interested in history, music, and good beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have shown many CSers around Boston. I have also set up some CS events like Halloween in Salem, MA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet used Couchsurfing for traveling. But I have shown many CSers around Boston and hosted a couple people looking for an emergency couch. I normally have roommates who are not really into Couchsurfing so cannot host. But the emergency hosting was when they were on vacation.

Interests

I am interested in history and science. I love seeing independent and foreign films. I am also big into Beer, especially Craft Beer/Microbrews. I am also into seeing live music, especially indie rock. I am also pretty familiar with the Boston music scene so if you are ever interested in seeing live music let me know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into indie rock, post-punk, and 80s. Some of the bands I like include Interpol, Editors, Arcade Fire, Mogwai, Metric, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved being able to visit Lebanon back in 2003. I was there to visit an old roommate of mine from Boston. Its a beautiful country with an interesting history dating back thousands of years. I had a lot of fun and was actually interested in studying there at the American University of Beirut, but unfortunately did not get any financial aid so that plan fell through. Not many Americans can say they went to Lebanon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach others about craft beer. Many CSers from Europe I meet have a view that American beer is just Bud and is crappy. I love to see them shocked as I show them many good local craft beers.
I also love discussing with people the history behind Boston. I love being able to learn from other CSers the history of their country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, India, Italy, Lebanon, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
