About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To uncliche the cliche of travelling. Ha.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 'fun loving' Aussie... on a budget and want to see some of the world with a local. Isn't that what every traveller wants?

PHILOSOPHY

Not that I'm religious, because I'm not at all, but if you treat others as you want to be treated, you can't go wrong, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new member so I am unsure how I can help. But I am a passionate Adelaidian who wants to educate the rest of the world about my great home city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing yet, but I hope to broaden my horizons.

Interests

I enjoy media.

Reading.

Writing at times.

Hanging out with my pals.

Listening to music.

Surfing the net.

Travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm, I'll just list a few books I've finished reading whilst travelling:

Vernon God Little
Time Traveller's Wife
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
A Boy Called It
We Need to Talk About Kevin
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Music, pretty much indiscriminate. Not a huge Reggae fan though.

Love a good, bad or awesome film. Willing to watch most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm yet to find that one defining moment where I think I've seen something absolutely amazing, but I'm open to finding it.

Seeing old people help each other when entering or exiting public transport brightens my day. Not sure that it classifies as a amazing thing I've seen, though.

Teach, Learn, Share

Here's hoping that whilst couchsurfing I can find and exchange the things I know that I can teach. Describing them in a short spaced paragraph like this is a lot harder than actually experiencing it first hand. In other words, I can't think of what to write, but look forward to sharing any talent I can pass on.
