CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to visit all the continents. I have been to North America, Asia, & Africa. I will knock Europe off the list this spring.

ABOUT ME

You could describe me as a geek. I love technology!! I have worked at an Apple store for the past 4 years. I recently left to start up my own technology company.

I am also passionate about my faith in Jesus Christ and I have felt called to help teens grow closer to Christ. I spend a considerable amount of my time working with middle school and high school youth at the church I grew up in.

I am recently married to a wonderful woman that I met at church named Britta. We are best friends and she is the reason that I now love to travel. I visited her while she was studying abroad in India and since then I keep thinking of all the wonderful places to visit.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is simple. You should love what you do! If you don't you should stop doing it. I love working with teens at church, working with technology, traveling, and spending time with my wife!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before my wife and I even knew about couch surfing we have both let people surf on our couches. We now have our own place together and are more than willing to let people surf while passing through town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My wife and I have hosted a few people but haven't had a chance to surf yet. Looking forward to meeting people from all over the world.

Music: I primarily listen to Christian music and classical
Books: I am reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown right now. I read quite a bit of non-fiction books on a variety of topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things that I have done in my life is to step out of my comfort zone of never really leaving the midwest of the United States and traveling to India to visit my girlfriend (now wife). Not only did I go to India during this trip but I also met up with people from my church in Tanzania for a short term mission trip. Once I left the country once I now have the travel bug!!!!!!
