ABOUT ME
What can I say? I'm a 6'6" giant who, after a rough few years, is packing a bag and heading off on a round the world adventure. With very little money. I'm not some 18 year old having a gap year that mummy and daddy are paying for, I've earned this trip and intend to make it one of a lifetime.
I'm generally regarded to be a nice guy, and fairly intelligent (so I'm told, I consider myself to be quite dumb most of the time). I'm into all types of music, and in england I go and see live bands about twice a month.
In my career I've done various types of care work and have ambitions of becoming some kind of psychologist.
I'm not sure what else to write at the moment, feel free to ask if you want more info.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to leave the world slightly better than I found it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Due to poor planning I'm now heading off without much money, so saving money on accommodation would be a massive bonus and help keep me out of debt. When I get back to the UK I will return the favour, definitely. I thought about hosting before but never got round to it. A few positive experiences while I'm away and it's certain.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experiences were in the States and had a great time, then did more in Nw Zealand and Australia. It's a great way to see to get to see a place with loads of useful "insider knowledge" and get to meet some great people.
Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My round-the-wolrd trip was pretty amazing. Drove over 7000 miles accross the states meeting the biggest hippy ever, a genuine cowboy, in Fiji swimming with mantarays, seeing a tiger shark, reef sharks, nemos, parrot fish and loads of other fish, and so far in NZ I've seen dolphins, been sandbording, zorbing, dug a hot tub out of the sand on a beach, and been black water rafting. Drove a 4x4 on Fraser Island, scuba dived in the great barrier reef, learnt Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, partied in Vang Vien, motorbiked in Vietnam etc etc etc....
Teach, Learn, Share
I did a one week course in Thai massage in Chaing Mai and am always looking for "victims" to practise on.
I want to learn some Spanish because I want to go to Peru
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Bolivia, Cambodia, Colombia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Fiji, Germany, Laos, New Zealand, Peru, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
United Kingdom
