About Me

I'm outgoing and inquisitive. I like writing music and exploring new cities. I moved back to MA last summer, and now I'm learning my way around Boston! I work for a startup designing hardware for an aerostat. (a big tethered blimp!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is awesome. I've had so many good hosting experiences in Austin TX, and now I'm starting to host in Boston as well. I did some couchsurfing on a road trip last summer, and it was all very positive. Traveling can be lonely, and it's wonderful to stay with someone who makes you feel at home in their city. Long live this website!

Interests

Music, space and astronomy, good books, fiction and nonfiction. Coffee, biking, running, hiking (I've hiked 700 miles on the northern part of the Appalachian Trail!). Philosophy, ethics, politics. I love to argue, discuss, or simply listen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent a year helping run a student music venue out of Georgia Tech. So I've been a part of a lot of awesome bands and people coming through on tour. It was a really terrific year.

I hiked 700 miles on the Appalachian Trail, from CT to Mt. Katahdin, Maine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll show you how to play songs on the guitar, accordion, trumpet, or piano. Or, if you're better than me you can show me something!Either way, sharing music is awesome. I can teach you about biblical history, NASA and the space program, the Appalachian Trail, or cool abandoned places in New England.
