About Me

Hello!

I am a musician, photographer, architect and a rock climber.

I enjoy seeing cities on foot as a pedestrian meandering through city blocks. I wish to experience urban spaces the same way that locals do through public transport, markets and finding local venues. I am especially interested in heritage architecture and watching live bands and other musical and creative performances, street busking etc.

In the outdoors, I enjoy experiencing nature on foot too and discovering hidden treats and roughing it in a tent or under an open sky if need be.

I enjoy a good degree of spontaneity and adventure with only the necessary amount of planning to survive at the very least!

Always prefer immersing myself into the day to day lives of the community that peering in as a tourist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through the Makgadkgadi Salt Pans in Botswana, where the white desert meets the horizon all around you and mirages appear and disappear the further you drive into the the unknown.

Camping and hiking along the wild coast of the Transkei (South Africa) and wading through a rivers where we later spotted sharks at the mouth. Yikes! And having an entire ampitheatre of cliffs and oceans all to ourselves with a breathe-taking array of stars and bon fire with only our freindly stray dog companion. No hotel could match this!

Skateboarding through the financial district of Shanghai at 2.00am along the main roads and elevated pedestrian bridges amongst the giant skyscrapers and silent silent city sleepers.
