ABOUT ME

My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTP.

I am a Materialist, absurdist & post-positivist; a warm, open-minded thinker, doer and maker.

I live in a suburb of Fukuoka city and work at the prefecture's Board of Education.

I like eating out, exploring a new city, making new friends, cooking, and photography.

I majored in Studio Art and Psychology. I like to make oil paintings of 8 and 16-bit sprites from old video games. I also like to extrapolate images out of random fields of patternless design. If you don't see a big difference between art and science, we'll get along famously.

If you think cephalopods are cool we're practically friends already. I had a pet octopus in college and soon I'll have another one here in Japan.

Before I moved here last August, I was teaching English at a high school in Fukuoka's rural countryside, so I can show you a thing or two off the beaten path as well, if that's your thang. I lived in Cherry blossom and rice paddy country.
