Hiyooo! My name is Michael and I live in the beautiful state on New Jersey... no, I don’t live in “New Joisey”... no, I don’t know Bruce or Bon Jovi... Yes, there IS a north and south jersey.... I’m south, the beaches, Atlantic City.... and unfortunately SHOOBIES -_- lol.

After graduating from a private school (not the fancy kind at all lol, I’m not a stuck up snob... our school was/still is broke lol, but we all became family :) ), I attended community college until I was offered an awesome job opportunity with a theatre company. I ran movie theatres in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for a few years, until returning home to be closer to my family and run a hotel in Ocean City, nj. Also because all of my friends were here... and without family and friends.. there’s no point of life lol.

After running a hotel for a few years and getting bored of dead winters (this is a totally seasonal area) I returned to community college to finish what I started, and also returned back to the theatre company until I graduated.

Now my job is taking care of my grandparents and their home, running a pool business, and CHRISTMAS lol.

Probably should have started with this.... I’m a huge Christmas nerd.. I do a somewhat large display on my home to help raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand and help end childhood cancer! Cancer sucks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I want to see what the world has to offer. I want to visit places, and actually see what people my age do there. Sure, I can book a hotel room, do my own thing, but what would I learn from that experience? I love meeting new people, and want to do so outside of Jersey!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the most recent things I have done that I consider amazing, was getting into Saturday Night Live with my good friend Rachel. We had a blast. It was a dream of ours to see the show! We got even more than we bargained for because not only did we see Seth Rogen as the host, Ed Sheeran as the musical guest, but James Franco stopped by along with Zooey Deschanel and Taylor Swift!

I know it only says one... but I also think an amazing thing I’ve done would be going to the other side of the world to visit one of my good friends.... twice!
