I suffer from a rare form of multiple disciplinary disorders less commonly recognised as Virgo-Rooster-Rainbow-Unicorn Syndrome… VRRUS. Lol yes, seems like a bit of a virus for sure but I’m assured by (most) of my friends that it is a gift, or perhaps more a veritable treasure trove of gifts that might be a little much for any mortal being (which I’m fortunately not…)

Heralding from a lush distant land 12 hours in the future (CET) New Zealand,  I enjoyed an up-bringing as a Shepard's son and brother(in) to one older and one younger sister. I literally played sports, rode horses, harvested fruits and obviously worked in hospitality for a good part of my life, however the creative hospitable bug was always strong in me!

I studied Fashion Design at the illustrious technical Massey University of Wellington 1999-2001 and went on to develop my craft and eponymous label MICHAEL PATTISON over the course of the ensuing 10 years.

At the ripe age of 29 I up and left NZ . My travels from March 2011- somewhere in the middle of 2013 took me to all the glossy Cities my friends boasted of while I was busy working off my 20’s and for some reason I settled on quite possible the most delightfully derelict sanctuary for the VRRUS creatures of the world!

I am particularly sociable, relatively laid back and often completely ridiculous when and if the occasion arrises ( which it seems to fairly regularly! )
I love to cook and entertain. I love meeting new people and I'm delighted by the opportunity to experience the world in all of its glory particularly with a little insiders insite wherever I might find myself!

I have always been a huge fan of travellers and have hosted many on my own accord. I am fascinated by culture and diversity and have amazing friends dotted about the world and continue to interact with them and plan trips and holidays in Berlin and other parts of Europe.
I find it hugely gratifying when you reconnect with friends you met for a day to friends you lived with for some months and also being a contact and host to the multitude of friends of friends traveling my way !

Interests

I'm exceptionally good a drinking and seldom get shown up on a dance floor. I have spent many years as a tailor/designer/euntrpreneur so can stitch together anything that takes the fancy. I love cooking and entertaining and I'm finally combining all these passions in a very ambitious event space where everything is possible!
