I'm a queer living out of a slightly stained (don't ask) Berghaus.

I'm quirky, random, strange, yet loving, honest and lax.

I've been described as crude, blunt and beautifully camp.

I love music, people, sexuality, expression, art, books, fashion and photography.

PHILOSOPHY

I left the UK a few years ago after, having a business and being in a long term relationship. Usual story, shit hits the fan so... I bought a one way ticket to Australia, landing with only a few hundred dollars and for the first time in my life I felt alive.

I spent a few months in Asia en route to Australia, were I met a woman in Bangkok, she had been travelling for 16 years, she said to me, "I don't have money, I'm not rich, I only have the clothes on my back, but I'm rich inside" She inspired me greatly as a newbie traveller.

Maybe one day in the future I may want a mortgage and a 9 to 5, but I've had that and I was not happy. At the moment I have a thirst for new surroundings, the knowledge of/from people, an education.

I now walk the streets, listening to life, looking up at the buildings, the sky and the people around me; I can't help but smile... I'm living my life how I want to right now... I'm happy and I feel alive. So until my mindset changes, this is how I live my life.

It's the people I meet along the way, that continue to inspire me. That is why I continue to live my life this way.

I'm hoping couch surfing will be a new way to fuel this fire...

I'm currently a CS voyeur...

I've been travelling for a few years, mainly staying at hostels or with friends. But I really want to immerse myself into the CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met people who have couch surfed and heard so many fantastic stories so I think it's time I dove into the community and got my own tales.

Visual eye candy: Mostly shocking photography. Tumblr. Not so risque favorites: Steve McCurry and Poras Chaudhary. Dragging inspiration to plan for the next adventure. Love music, gigs, gallery, super foodie!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like to think of myself as eclectic.. love to listen to 'advert music', good chilled out beats while on a train or having a stroll. Love: M83, Sigur Ros, Lamb, Tv on the Radio.

Film: Again, Eclectic. But I'm a pussy and like a film that makes me cry. Like a good Documentary, I rave about the Corporation and Esoteric Agenda.

Books: I tend to read fictional rubbish just to zone out of what's going on around me, or to make me sleepy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A train ride in Burma that should of taken 2 hours, and took 15. Being 1 of only 4 tourists.. having fun and sharing food with locals followed by tourist/local separation and armed guards and alot of whiskey. What should of been the most awful journey, turned out to be one of the best.

Stand on the 1700ft cliff at Preah Vihear Temple in Cambodia. Looking back on the amazing world heritage site.. and being the only tourist.
