Hello!

I am new to CouchSurfing and very excited to try out such a unique experience. I am a single, gay male living in Portland, Oregon USA. I am looking to expand on my travel experiences and make lasting friendships around the world. I've never traveled outside of the North American continent and I'm looking to change that. I'm a little shy at first but once I warm up to you, you'll find that I'm incredibly easy going, trustworthy, and fun-loving. I also love to make other people laugh at my expense. Even if it means making a complete ass out of myself. I am also hearing impaired so I do require a little time understanding whats being said and patience from others when communicating.

UPDATE: I have purchased my airfare for my first ever trip to Europe in late April. Places I'm planning to visit are Reykjavik and Amsterdam. If you have any travel tips, I'd love to hear them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have wanderlust! I have this imense desire to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures and explore new places all over the world.

If you're visiting Portland, I'd love to show you around! The Pacific NW is beautiful and Portland is an amazing city. The Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, wine country, the Columbia Gorge and countless waterfalls and hiking trails are all just a short drive away. No matter what time of the year it is, there's ALWAYS something to do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

I have yet to have my first couch surfing experience. I am currently not hosting guests in my home (mainly because my roommate is lame) but am planning to do so in the very near future. However, I'd be very happy to be your tour guide during your visit.
