About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet, to learn, to interact and to absorb

ABOUT ME

I'm an accommodator. That's not a real word, but its what I do. If I can take a few steps out of my own way to make someone else's trail a little smoother, I like to do what I can. I play music, I appreciate good (and more often than not, bad) cinema, microbrews, pool, biking, fake mustaches, soccer and the inspiring company of others.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and camaraderie both of which achieved through a genuine interest and respect for the people that surround me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not frequently able to offer up couch space, but I am more than willing to meet up with fellow travelers and give people a feel for this wonderful town. I've got personal transportation and a quasi-encyclopedic knowledge of the amazing public transportation system we have here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to speak of just yet, but in the near future I will be traveling as cheaply as possible in South America, so I fully expect to cuddle a few of your couches.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ac/Dc to Oingo Boingo to Johnny Cash to Social Distortion. It reaches quite far.

Books I like tend to be written by people like Phillip K. Dick, Neil Gaiman, Murakami and so on....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent amazing adventure was a 24 hour long scavenger hunt that spanned the whole city and surrounding areas of Portland. The catch was that it had to be done all on bicycle. It was possibly the most physically and mentally demanding thing I've ever done but the experience and things I saw on this hunt were amazing and beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

Guitar, whistling through your hands, pool, jigs, loads and loads of random and useless trivia knowledge.

I would love to learn to play banjo. Oh! And tapdancing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bolivia, United States
