CURRENT MISSION

Other than backpacking through Europe and SE Asia, I'm making my way to Australia where I decided to leave corporate America and follow my dreams to live abroad. Also want to get my teaching license and then then go to Thailand and Japan and Spain.

ABOUT ME

I caught the travel bug pretty hard a few years ago and I've been running with this disease ever since. Traveling and sports are by far my two most favorite hobbies/interests. I love adventure and taking risks, exploring new cultures, making new friends.

I see myself as living in the moment and taking life as it comes.

I like to volunteer and work with children in El Salvador who live in gang controlled areas.

PHILOSOPHY

hmmm??? Life is short, unpredictable, unfair, unseen. It's entirely of what you make of it, nothing is going to come and meet you half way. I live life on my terms whether good, bad, or just stupid but it's mine. I want to look back at life not wondering what if...I try to do good and help others and think before I make choices because I believe that good Karma and opportunities will come around from it. This world was created with no borders, so why am I subjected to live in the small town of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't actually stayed with anyone yet, I tried during my first trip and failed but it was Christmas season so I don't blame them. Then I fell in love with hostel life sooo yea.

I do sometimes scope out events in the city I'm visiting to meet up with other travelers.

Books: The outsiders, I like to read up on history and social issues.
