ABOUT ME

I have a thirst for adventure and variety and love experiencing new things. I think that I'm a very easy person to get along with. I love to dance and sing! After travelling for 11 months in 2011 (and couchsurfing along the way), the overwhelming generosity of people I don't know still continues to astound me. Fundamentally, to me, people are inherently good and couchsurfing is a perfect example of this.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I host (when I am living with my parents) and I am happy to catch up with people! I love meeting new people and having wonderfully surprising experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMAZING! I surfed throughout Europe in 2011 and have also done some surfing in Australia since returning. My parent's house is always full of international visitors for one reason or another. I've hosted a few times since returning and also driven some surfers from A to B when heading up to work in the barossa valley! This year due to living arrangements I haven't been able to host, but have been open to catch ups!

Cycling around Cambodia.
Gorgeous picnic along Canal St. Martin in Paris.
Greeted John Travolta backstage at a gig in LA.
Had lunch on the post of a bridge facing Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
Taught schoolkids in Kenya and went on safari - stood 2 metres away from a sleeping lion.
Jumped off the Dubrovnik city walls in Croatia into the Adriatic Sea - 11m - very scary!

Can help with english speaking, can make the Australian favourite food - vegemite on toast, and certainly can provide a few nice drops of Aussie wine! I'm always up for a sing or dance and open to giving and sharing on all levels. Love to learn other languages, taste foreign food and hear foreign music! (plus, i like to swing dance and play ultimate frisbee, if these things are happening in your city, this is an experience we could share!)
