Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing basically to connect with people who live in the places i'm interested in visiting. While visiting famous landmarks and trying new foods are cool, I find I always have a greater connection to a place if I have gotten to know and made friends with people from the place as well. I hope to use couch surfing to make friends but also to learn more about the country I'm visiting through the locals!
