Hello! My name is Miki. I am an artist and a traveler. I've trained in the theatre, acting, and performance for most all my life, so art is the lense through which I view the world. I am a curious and open minded person. I find that I seek beauty, freedom, adventure, and peace in my life and my surroundings

I am a pretty easy going, open minded, and creative person who loves to laugh and enjoy all that life is and has to offer. I love new places, people, experiences, and friends

I've been traveling and on the road for a little over a year now, and am loving the nomad lifestyle and all of the incredible experiences, places, and people I've gotten to meet. I'm passionate about art, history, culture, and the stories of the people and the world we live in. I would love to host if/when I have a stable dwelling place somewhere, but for now my backpack and myself are my truest home

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I think it's an incredible community of travelers and explorers. I believe in the power of simple human connection and openness. When I travel I like to be immersed in the place and culture that I visit, and couchsurfing has been a beautiful way to meet the world in a magical and humbling way. I'm hoping this space can continue to be a great place to meet people, learn, laugh, and create unforgettable memories

I am someone who loves learning, growing, and expanding. I want to live a full life, with all of the beauty and messiness and humanity possible. I have trained as an actor and performance artist in the theatre for most of my life, so I tend to view the world through the viewpoint of art. I love deep conversations about life, humanity, nature, spirituality, philosophy, science, history, culture, etc. (I could go on forever) I love laughter, dancing, music, food and drink, and art in all forms. I am someone who genuinely enjoys most things, and I'm a pretty adventurous person
