I just want a simple life! Spending time outdoors, with animals, being creative, baking bread, etc :)

PHILOSOPHY

Ideal:
'traveller, there is no path, paths are made by walking'
'Even if you fall flat on your face, you're still moving forward!'
'The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom, for you know not what is enough until you know what is more than enough'

Reality:
depends on the day. . . sometimes I'm despairing... Sometimes I'm ecstatic... Mostly I'm alright.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been able to host for a while for various reasons but now I can!
I surf whenever I can, although I'm often staying with friends anyway, sometimes I go to meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first hosted people when I used to live in my little cabin thing that I built with a boyfriend when i was 19, and I have stayed with people when I don't have a friend to stay with already. I was very lucky to stay with some people when I first came to Edinburgh who it turned out I already knew and then I stayed with more of their friends and so on, couchsurfing is good for that, meeting new friends and sometimes old friends :)

兴趣

I love making things, painting, drawing, knitting. I like motorbikes and cycling.
I like camping, cooking, baking bread, gardening, sitting around in the garden having bbqs and bonfires, i have a guitar and a djembe but I cant play either :(
I like circus things like poi, aaaaaaand of course I like to go exploring!

I can show you how to recycle plastic bags into cooler, stronger plastic bags by using crochet. Although it might not be such a good idea now that all the bags here are biodegradable, they do tend to fall apart after a year's continual use, especially if exposed to sunlight. Not much of a problem in Scotland though :P

You can come and volunteer in a Permaculture garden with me if you like. Maybe go for a motorbike ride. Depends how much I'm working.
