My name is Mikkel and I'm a true Dane(yep)! I finished my education as social worker and want to see some more of the world before settling down! I would see myself as a friendly minded and curious person that pretty much can get along with anybody. I saw couchsurfing as a opportunity to meet new people while out travelling and when home hopefully get the privilege of being host to some amazing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling throughout Europe for 5 month by bike, while I do have tent and other opportunities, I see couchsurfing as a perfect opportunity to meet people along the way:)

I love hiking in beautiful nature and from there I have gained a desire to try out Travelling by bike, currently I am biking for 5 months throughout Europe!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in middle of a 10 days hike i got some kind of food poison and vomited the whole night in my tent. The next day i saw there was some kind of village with a hotel on the map 15miles from me. I did what i had to do and went for the hotel, with no sleep from the night and everything i tried to eat or drink went up along the way. I got to the Hotel, had some easy food to eat, soda, (oh God bless the soda) and slept for 16 hours.. next day i was refreshed and continued an amazing trip. :)
