I'm currently a sailor by profession, but my interests lie in music and visual arts (photo and video, mostly). Nowadays I work on a ship going from Hanko, Finland to Gdynia, Poland, and I'm three weeks on, three weeks off. While I'm off, I can spend my time how I please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My apartment has enough space to host people, and when I'm on shore, I can easily arrange time for that also. I'm also thinking that when my current ship is old enough to be made into scrap metal, I'd pack my bags and start to travel around with my guitar, trying to play gigs along the way and meet new people, and perhaps settle down for awhile someplace warmer than Finland... :)

Interests

When in comes to playing music, my goal is to be kinda Jack of all trades, so I'm more interested in achieving good skills with several instruments than mastery with one. Currently I'd say I'm good with guitar and bass, medium with banjo and piano and vocals and beginner with mandolin and drums.
