I feel that the most meaningful thing to do is to travel inside to the depths of ones mind - so I am trying to enquire into the depths of my own mind.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Pärnu Estonia. A small town near the seaside. During high-school I became an activist in School Students union and ended up leading the national one for two years.
After this I moved to Riga, Latvia to get my Bachelors in Business Administration and Economics. As for my career I have been involved in several project management roles in a newspaper, event organizing company, and also in Tartu Science Park. I have been the manager of one of the leading biotech companies in Estonia. To add some more color I was leading software projects and delivery in an Estonian software company working with Pakistanis, Mexicans, Chinese and Swedes.
As a hobby I have been organizing executive education seminars for Estonian managers-entrepreneurs to learn from successful companies in other European countries.

I invested first half of 2009 to get to know South-East Asia more. Took a course in London School of Economics in July-August.
And then in November 2009 something life-changing happened. My dear dear brother invited me to go for a Buddhist philosophy and meditation course in Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu for one month. And I did go. And I was hooked on how full and logical and meaningful the worldview was and even more how practical the many methods of contemplation and meditation were. And from there on my main interest has been to really gain much more wisdom about the way we perceive this world and the perceiver - the mind.

I like variety. And a lot of new experiences. I like the dodgiest places and the shiny nice places as well. I like people who I can learn from. Whatever it might be.
Learning is great. New cultures are great and I I have ended up seeing and meeting them. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host but I have not had a home and permanent place for years now. I hope this will happen sooner or later that I will have a home and I can host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No big formal couch surfing experiences. But my couch and floor has always been open to people who I know as well as to people I don't know that well yet.
I have to admit that I did not join CS for the free couch. I joined it for the new friends, the people offering the couches and more encounter with the culture in the places I end up to.
