Overview
About Me
I live in Kampala, Uganda, and I'm going to do a 10-week, 4000 km cycling tour in Europe beginning in August 2015. This will be my first tour, and I am extremely excited! After this tour, my goal is to do at least one international cycling tour each year. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to American (German and Swedish) and Ethiopian parents. My years have been split between numerous African countries and Washington, DC in the USA.
My tour itinerary: The Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, Belgium, and back to The Netherlands.
Because I will happen to be in the middle of a move from Kampala to Washington, DC, during my tour, I am looking for help to store a few pieces of luggage between August and October. Secondly, I am looking for willing hosts to let me stay at their apartments/houses for 1-2 nights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet friends that are willing to host me and optionally to show me around their home city or give recommendations for places to eat and to have fun. I hope I can reciprocate when I move to Washington, DC, in October.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a decent cook, I have funny travel stories, and I like to go out to see live music and DJs. I am a decent bike mechanic, so I can sometimes help tune/repair bikes. I have a decent music collection (mostly hip hop, heavy metal, house, downtempo, and rock) that I can share.
