Hi!

My name is Mikolaj (or Miko), I'm currently living in Edinburgh. I was born and raised in Poland and have been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I'm working in tech, some of my hobbies include physical activity (gym/swimming) and salsa. I like reading and going out. I am a pretty basic bitch as you can see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My very first couchsurfing experience was with a random (lovely!) girl from the internet, we ended up in a random (lovely!) apartment in Brno.

I wasn't very comfortable with the idea at first. Once I entered the flat everything changed. I found a house full of beautiful travel stories and interesting people. Wine was drunk, stories were told. It was amazing and I realised
how much I prefer this way of travelling over the typical holiday.

I'd love to host Portuguese/Spanish/Russian speakers to practice a little bit :) Don't worry if you don't speak these languages though. Everyone is welcome :)

I'd be happy to walk you through Edinburgh and show you some cool spots, we can also go for a salsa class :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am glad to help with some cooking, can teach some Polish or about my culture in general. Would love to find a host that is down to hang out and so something while I'm there, no worries if you can't though.
