All the below is from quite a few years ago now - but I kinda like to keep it :) Now I'm a bit older (obviously) - greyer, fatter, married... that's life I guess :D I was off couchsurfing for a few years but now we're back in the game! We have a spare room after all!

Just a cheeky, chilled out, happy-go-lucky kind of guy - down to earth, but adventurous and playful, a little intellectual and sometimes competitive (Ok, always competitive, but you won't know it if I'm losing!) :)I try to be kind, polite and considerate... although like everyone I guess, I've made mistakes!

I often think of myself as shy, but people tell me I'm not. Strange!Maybe (Ha! "maybe"!) I'm a bit of a fool; I listen to my heart rather more than my head or, more importantly, other people.

I managed to escape reality and get across Latin America for about 18 months a while back. I loved every minute... but now... I am home :( It's all good though. I'm just working working working to get back to doing what I love - discovering new places, drinking with new people and waking up late!

Music: errr, everything I guess - except the stuff that nobody likes - the stuff in the charts ;)
No, but really... I like raving - techno and drum n bass, I LOVE the Beatles (they brought my mum from France to England - and they have a song for every mood!!), rock festivals are really good (but expensive! You must go to Glastonbury!), and old skool hip hop gets me movin' too :)

Movies: Well, I'm pretty sick of the standard Hollywood crap that gets churned out every year, I like something different... maybe with a bit of a philosophical vibe to it. Nothing scary though!! Please! A Night At The Roxbury, Dazed and Confused, Friday, La Vita E Bella... so good!

Books: I like reading but I don't get round to it so often!! Right now I'm reading something very interesting called Views From The Real World - the ideas are intense!
I read some real good books on some real long bus journeys, mmm... can't think of them now - we'll talk about it when we meet if you like, hehe.

I played the guitar pretty badly until my little brother sold it while I was away. I dance like a fool. I can't draw. I have a French mother but I don't speak French. I gess my sspelllign is ok. I could skateboard but I'd dislocate my shoulder!

This section is depressing! :P

Ahhh yesss, AND, once upon a time (if I remember rightly), in a galaxy far, far away... I was once told by one wonderful beautiful old lady (riding a raccoon no less!) that I'm NOT actually *THE* 100% guaranteed -fully-certified- SHITTIEST English teacher in the whole entire universe.
And I felt quite good about myself for about a second.
And then it stopped :)
