Well, I am a portuguese speaker but in order to make the life of foreigners easier, I'll describe things here using the english language. :)

I am a bit of everything... a bit of decorator, makeup artist, illustrator, photographer. These are things I enjoy, but professionally speaking, I am an English teacher and study International Relations. Beyond any "title" I am Camila, a human being, who makes mistakes, learns, shares, gives...

I participate trying to be as helpful as I can and being open to deal with people who have different habits, culture, knowledge, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some experiences hosting and dealing with CSers from different countries, and also meeting CSers from other areas while traveling. It's amazing how much you can learn with people.

Interests

There are many things that inrest me, but the main ones are learning about different cultures, languages, etc. Which is related to couch surfing. Other than that, I enjoy music; I am fond of Rock'n'Roll style, specially rockabilly and indio rock. In, fact anything that is rock and sounds good might interest me. I am trying to learn how to play drums, so I'm taking drumming classes (LOL.)
I also enjoy things involving creativity. When I lived in the USA I discovered I could use my gifts of creativity to be a decorator, it was when I started to enjoy making changes in the environment around me.
Since I am studying to be an internationalist, I have to learn and be informed about the world in general, so I try to get into topics related to the world in general, such as conflicts, wars, world economy, famous philosophers, etc. I know when we studsy we never like everything we have to learn, but international relations is very broad and who chooses it as a profession has deals with constant changes in the world. Well, in general, I can say knowledge is never too much...it is always good to LEARN and SHARE.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like horror movies, but I'm pretty open to other styles such as comedy. I love two and a half men! lol
about music I like indie rock, bossa nova, reggae etc. But yeah, Rock'n'Roll is what makes my heart beat. All of us have that music style that we tend to like more.

And about books...Well, I have some books I have to ready for university stuff but for fun I enjoy a brazilian writer called Rubem Alves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the USA for an adventure for one year and half when I was a young lady was an amazing thing. I simply decided I would like to live there and have this experience, so I did it. When we are young we have this crazy ideas and are fearless about the world.
