Overview
About Me
After extensive travelling abroad in the past years I am back in Europe to discover my home continent. With no fixed base my objective is to experience our vastly accelerating world at the current moment by meeting people, understanding cultures and seeing nature as it is.
I am tranquil and trying to take all rush out of my day.
Despite the fact that "only dead fish go with the flow" I start becoming better at letting the universe do the decision making for me occasionally. Generally that has often positively let me to calm environments and open minded people to learn from which I enjoy
PHILOSOPHY:
Hora incerta
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People create the memories of the places I visit and couchsurfing helps me to find new friends waiting to be met.
Interests
As long as relevant I can get curious about really anything. When I do, I don't stop asking questions until I feel like I start understanding the underlying subject even though I quickly realize as more I know how little I actually know.
E.g. I have been quite interested in nutritional content of food and its effect on our body based on "food as fuel". I experiment a lot to get to the bottom of things so dont be surprised about my eccentric eating habits at times ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of non-fiction and each book has its own unique take away. Pointing two books out that changed the way I look at things I would probably pick "Sapiens" by Yuval Harari and "When Breath Becomes Air" by Paul Kalanithi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfing Espinho in Portugal with only one more friend in the water.
Teach, Learn, Share
As Emerson put it: "..every man I meet is my superior in some way, and in that I learn from him"
Hence I am eager to learn from you about your culture, interests and local language. You will quickly find out that I like to ask many questions and try to deeply understand things.
I can teach German and/or English if interested, and exchange cooking skills that I aquired over time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything from a fun conversation about life in Western-Europe and recent experiences from the many countries of my trip to self cooked food for you. (If you dare to leave your kitchen to me which I will surely clean after all)
I am also not reluctant to give a helping hand with any work that needs to done around the house.
