ABOUT ME

Milena is a happy, self-confident and self-reliant person who tries to make her life more exciting and interesting. She has a mind of scientist and a soul of social (but not socialist!) activist. She sometimes catches herself on imagining her reforming The World and making it more fair and better organised :-) Seriously she believes that one should do whatever they can to make their little world as good as possible so she does it herself and it makes her happy.

She likes finding new opportunities, new lifestyles and doing what she hasn't done yet. She finds improving herself good for her mood. She likes spending time on discussions in order to learn about other people and their ideas and concepts.

Marcin: Born, raised and educated in Poland. Notorious book worm and comic books fan. Loves board games, computer games, and any other type of game. Recently became a dad and is loving it. Sometimes travels in his head, sometimes for real. Social anthropologist long in previous life.

Arnika: Born in March 2014. She is a real adventurer. All she has done so far in her life was exploring. Very happy soul, friendly and sociable yet, can be a nuisance if it comes to being quiet or behave in predictable way. Therefore if you want to stay with us you need to make sure you are comfortable with children as she will almost certainly try to have a chat with you!

Flora: born in October 2018. Adorable cutie who is quite expressive, so will scream when uncomfortable and smile when she want's to let you know she is happy :) She doesn't always sleeps in the night and can be quite noisy but we can already tell she is quite sociable and loves other people to cuddle her and smile to her.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My husband and I have met a lot of couchsurfers during our travel through USA. We've spent 42% of our three months there on couches found thanks to the CS. Since we are living in England we are hosting more than travel.

We also have some experience with hitch-hiking, which is quite similar to couch surfing. We have travelled through Europe thanks to great, friendly drivers from Poland, Germany, Belgium, France, Romania and some other European countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband and I have quitted our jobs once, gave back rental apartment we've rented and went to USA for 3 months. It was awesome!
